Deep in the Kyoto countryside in Ayabe, a traditional farmhouse has been renovated to welcome guests.

Just like long ago,
a cooking hearth (irori) provides warmth.
Guests gather around the hearth to cook and share the meal.

There is a supermarket and some neighborhood restaurants nearby.

Stay and 2 meals 10000 yen/person

If you would like to go to nearby Daikazoku-no-yu Onsen(hot spring) we will drive you there.

Agricultural experience

Free

We welcome interested guests to our farm garden where you can pick the vegetables for your meals. We’ll even give you a ride on the tractor, if you want.

Kimono experience

2,000 yen/person

You can be dressed in kimono and go out and take photos at nearby temples and shrines.

Chanoyu (tea ceremony)

500 yen/person

You can also experience Chanoyu (tea ceremony ) and try your hand at whisking Matcha your self.
